Today I accompanied my son’s kindergarten class to the zoo. It was a gorgeous day, and we had a great time. The weather is beginning to border on “hot” at certain points, and I must say that I was a bit envious of those otters splashing around. I’m so ready for summer.
There are now only five weeks left of school, and they are full. Almost every day has something scheduled. Field days, choir programs, baseball, etc. mean that we are quite busy. It’s all good stuff, but there’s a lot of it.
So here’s where I take a deep breath and hold on to my habits. This queen of excuses can’t afford to let my hard work of this school year come to nothing as routine goes out the window for the next few months.
I’m quite proud to say, that although I left for the zoo before 8 a.m. and came home at 2:00 only to switch vehicles and go pick up the other kids, I have now, at 6:30 . . . put in my last load of laundry for the week. Yep, by starting last night and staying on top of it in any minute that I was home, Laundry Day still happened. Now, nothing has been folded yet, but I am planning to do that as I watch Dancing with the Stars.
Whew.

My last 5 weeks look like that as well. BUt, I have 6 kids in school. We committed to buying another house today, which means puting ours on the market, and I found out I am pregnant. All within the last 24 hours. I am very high risk anyway, and now 42 years old. And, I wonder why I can't sleep tonight:). Laundry is not folded. I have 2 field trips, a fundraising dinner, another party from a previous school fundraiser, May crowning, volunteer appreciation brunch, and tons more of baseball, softball, lacrosse and a day long seminar on Saturday. Interesting week. I am sure I will not stay on task this week, but have high hopes for you!

When do you do wash the bedding?

Wow! You have had quite a day, and I can totally see why you can't sleep.
As far as bedding, I've been trying to do every other week. I was just thinking yesterday that I need to either do it every week, or come up with a system to remind myself which week it is.
