Today I:
Made bed.
Checked bathrooms for clutter.
Cleaned kitchen.
Swept kitchen.
Got off my behind and did a focused 5 minute pick-up.
Washed a load and put in dryer.
Last night I did my evening tasks in their entirety. No cheating this time. I folded and put away the load of laundry from yesterday. I made lunches. I put out clothes. I wiped down bathroom counters and toilets.
Tonight, I’m going to try to get some of my evening tasks done early. For example, I would like to fold clothes in the afternoon instead of leaving them for after the kids go to bed. Yesterday I had every intention of doing that, but instead crashed for a few minutes before making supper because I was exhausted from working on the wallpaper removal. (Read more about that in my Tackle it Tuesday post for today.)
But, even though I didn’t get it done at that point, I did do it because I followed my evening routine. Go me!
